Director of Special Events
Reporting to the Vice President of Development, the Director of Special Events leads a four member staff team and a network of volunteers responsible for the Colon Cancer Alliance's nationwide run/walk series and for the development of an expanded special event portfolio.
The Colon Cancer Alliance seeks to increase both action and revenue by expanding its special events beyond the Undy Run/Walk. The Director, in collaboration with the Development and Communications departments, is responsible for identifying, developing and marketing new special event opportunities responsive to the organization's fundraising goals.
Undy Run/Walk Intern
The Colon Cancer Alliance seeks a paid Undy Run/Walk Intern to assist a growing organization in fulfilling its mission of knocking colon cancer out of the top three cancer killers by championing prevention, funding cutting-edge research and providing the highest quality patient support services. The position is 27 – 31 hours per week and will work within the Undy department, enhancing the Undy Run/Walk series.
Information Architect Manager
The Colon Cancer Alliance seeks a full-time Information Architect responsible for assisting the organization in establishing and implementing a technology vision for the organization. She or he will be expected to, on an ongoing basis, increase operational efficiency and capacity through the use of technology. Superior verbal written and communications skills are a must, as is the ability to work across all departments and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects with conflicting deadlines. Must enjoy being an integral part of a team, but must also be able to work independently and provide direction to others. Eagerness to learn, adaptability and a can-do spirit are major pluses.
- Manage overall health and effectiveness of Salesforce/Luminate CRM implementation.
- Stay up to date on latest releases of Salesforce and Luminate CRM functionality, assessing impact on existing practices and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure continued successful integration between Luminate CRM, Luminate Online, Clicktools, and other connected platforms and apps. Monitor data quality and correct synchronization errors.
