The Undy 5000 is a family-friendly 5K run/walk created by the Colon Cancer Alliance. The cities of Sacramento, San Diego, and St. Louis all host Undy 5000 races in March, or you can find a 2013 Undy 5000 near you. Running, walking, or volunteering at one of these events will help raise awareness about colon cancer and bring in funds for local screening programs.
Ask Me Why I'm BLUE Volunteer Campaign
The Ask Me Why I’m BLUE Outreach Campaign provides structure for our advocacy and volunteer events. Our campaign makes it easy to get involved for first-time volunteers while also providing support and continuing education workshops for those who are long-time CCA volunteers. The many components of the Ask Me Why I’m BLUE campaign include: the formation of a Speaker’s Bureau, educational workshops for Mentor Buddies, My CCA Support Online moderators and chat hosts, local, state and national Advocacy opportunities and many other opportunities.
