Remembering Jane: Let’s Have a Peek

Lynn McIntyre and her family wanted a way to honor the 10 year anniversary of the passing of their mother, Jane. Jane had been a teacher of the deaf and the hard of hearing, loyal wife, and mother. In looking for a special way to celebrate their mother’s life, Lynn and her siblings decided to honor her memory by fundraising with a unique t-shirt design.

They turned to teespring.com, a site that allows users to design custom apparel for fundraising campaigns. In their “Remembering Jane” shirt campaign, they raised over $800 for the Colon Cancer Alliance with the slogan “Let’s have a peek” on the front, and “ask your doc about a colonoscopy” [sic] on the back. It also included the URL for the Colon Cancer Alliance homepage.

The McIntyre clan celebrated their mother with a relaxing day at the Milwaukee County Zoo, sporting their t-shirts. Congratulations to Lynn and her family for all your hard work.
