Help Us Turn DC Blue for Colon Cancer
This unique week-long campaign will be held September 26 - October 3, 2010 with the goal of bringing the community together in a declaration of support for survivors and to stress the importance of getting a screening test. Many Congresspeople and local businesses have come on board as supporters of DC Goes Blue, and the list continues to grow. Come out and join us at one of our daily events during the week including happy hours, health fairs and even a Colon Cancer Awareness Night at Nationals Stadium. The week will culminate in the inaugural DC Undy 5000. We hope to see you there!

Royal Oak and Jersey Welcome the Undy 5000
The increasingly popular Undy 5000 came to Royal Oak, MI and the Jersey Shore on July 31st. Nearly 1,000 participants came out for the events, which raised close to $100,000 to help support and build the CCA’s national and local patient support and public awareness programs. Additionally, a percentage of funds raised will go to the Beaumont Hospital Colon and Rectal Department in Royal Oak and the Riverview Medical Center in Monmouth, NJ to support healthcare programs and services to promote screenings, colon cancer research, and help the underserved.
