CCA is committed to increasing clinical trials for all colorectal cancer patients and survivors. Clinical trials are research studies that are often the only way to further research into cancer treatment. Cancer clinical trials are studies that investigate new options in the fight against cancer and offer CRC survivors access to promising drugs earlier than traditional treatment options.
"When I first heard about clinical trials, I envisioned a ‘mad scientist' in a laboratory with test tubes and caged rats," said Kevin Lewis, CCA board member and clinical trial participant. "The reality is totally different."
