The Colon Cancer Alliance Announces Membership with Community Health Charities
Washington, DC (February 2, 2010) The Colon Cancer Alliance (CCA) is pleased to announce its acceptance as a member with the prestigious Community Health Charities of America (CHCA).
For more than half a century, CHCA has partnered with its member health charities in the workplace to provide a cost effective partnership that enhances the ability to deliver more of every dollar donated into the hands of those who desperately need it. CHCA provides its member charities access to more than 1200 work sites nationwide, as well as to the Combined Federal Campaign that raises $275 million for charities annually.
Community Health Charities of America works to improve the lives of people affected by a disability or chronic disease by uniting caring donors in the workplace with our nation's most trusted health charities. Andrew Spiegel, CEO of the Alliance said, "We are honored to be new member of CHCA, working together with 54 of the Nation's most credible and trusted health charities. The fact that we were accepted into this community of the top charities in America speaks volumes about the quality of services the CCA offers."
Through its nationwide network of 36 affiliate offices, CHCA connects the American workplace to more than 1,200 credible charities focused on addressing our nation's most pressing health issues.
By partnering with CHCA, the Colon Cancer Alliance will increase its visibility and generate new donors and funds that will support the work of its mission: to end the suffering caused by colorectal cancer through patient support and education, increasing screening and public awareness of the disease, advocacy and supporting research for a cure.
