Colon cancer screening tests save lives – just like breast exams and mammograms. During October and all year, we’re asking you to not only remember your breast health by thinking pink, but for you to consider your colon, too. That’s why we created the, “Screen This Too!” campaign.
Get Involved. Spread the Word.
We’re taking this campaign to the streets! Here are a few ways you can be a part of the movement:
- Purchase a “Screen This Too!” shirt and wear it everywhere. It’s available for men and women – so get your whole family, sports league or office involved!
- Download a “Screen This Too!” sign. Print it off and post it anywhere and everywhere, make it your Facebook or Twitter profile picture or even pass them out on the street corner! Get yours today!
Submit Your Photo
Help us take this campaign viral! When you get your shirt or download a sign, take a photo doing something funny or creative with it – then post it on our Colon Cancer Alliance Facebook page and your own! Get a head start and “like” us on Facebook now!
Do you have another creative idea on how to spread the word? Let us know! We’d love for others to learn from your creative genius. Email your ideas to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Colon Cancer Screening Basics
Start colon cancer screenings at age 50, or earlier if you have symptoms or are high risk. Other diseases, such as breast cancer and diabetes, can also put you at a higher risk for colon cancer. When in doubt, talk to your doctor.
Join our fight to increase survivorship by giving your friends this cheeky reminder to go blue while thinking pink! When you talk to your doctor about your breast health, make sure you say, “Screen this too!”
