2010 Chicago Seminar Highlights

Thank you to everyone who made the 2010 Chicago Conversations about Colorectal Cancer seminar a great success! The seminar was presented in partnership with Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center and held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
A panel of exceptional and accomplished doctors spoke about advances in the treatment of colon cancer. Lurie’s leading healthcare professionals presented information on oncology interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and surgery.
After a panel questions and answers session with the speakers, attendees ate a buffet lunch while participating in a breakout session – peer-to-peer support forums for survivors and caregivers. In the small personal groups, everyone had a chance to share their experiences and offer one another support.

“This program was simply excellent! The doctors presentations were both concise and very informative. The Question & Answer session that followed was most impressive. I was particularly impressed that the doctors took the additional time out of their schedules to remain present for Question & Answer”
