2010 Salt Lake City Seminar

Thank you to everyone who made the 2010 Salt Lake City Conversations about Colorectal Cancer seminar a great success! The seminar was presented in partnership with Huntsman Cancer Institute and held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the University of Utah.
A panel of exceptional and accomplished doctors spoke about advances in the treatment of colon cancer. Huntsman’s leading healthcare professionals presented information on oncology, radiation oncology, and surgery. An additional session was added to the Salt Lake City seminar about the role genetics play in colorectal cancer prevention and treatment.
After a panel questions and answers session with the speakers, attendees ate a delicious buffet lunch while participating in a breakout session – peer-to-peer support forums for survivors and caregivers. In the small personal groups, everyone had a chance to share their experiences and offer one another support.
