South Florida
On a gorgeous South Florida winter morning, more than 200 people ran in their underwear in honor of and in memory of those who have been affected by colon cancer. Dubbed a resolution run for individuals who made New Year’s resolutions to get healthy and stay fit, the South Florida Undy 5000 & Resolution Run was held on January 7 at the Meyer Amphitheater in West Palm Beach. Sacramento
More than 550 people showed up to kick off National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month on March 3, 2012 for the first annual Sacramento Undy 5000. More than 30 survivors were also in attendance at the race at William Land Park. Read more![]()
San Diego
On March 12, 2012, nearly 900 people ran in their underwear in honor of and in memory of those who have been affected by colon cancer. Continuing as part of National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, the third annual San Diego Undy 5000 was held at Mission Bay Park’s De Anza Cove. Read more![]()
St. Louis
On March 31, 2012, the final day of colon cancer awareness month, the Colon Cancer Alliance came to St. Louis, Missouri’s Forest Park for the fourth annual Undy 5000. Over 1,780 participants came out to run in their undies for colon cancer awareness, making this record-breaking Undy 5000 the largest one yet!

Buffalo
On a chilly morning in April, over 900 underwear-clad participants came to Delaware Park for the first-ever Buffalo, New York Undy 5000. New York State Senator Mark Grisanti, dressed in a suit and boxers, presented a proclamation marking April 28th as “Buffalo Undy 5000 5K Day” to Tess Fraser, the driving force behind bringing the Undy to Buffalo. Senator Grisanti also honored 26 survivors and all others who had lost to their battle with colon cancer. Read more![]()
Denver
On June 23, 2012, the Colon Cancer Alliance and the residents of Denver, Colorado braved the 97 degree heat for the Denver Undy 5000. At the beautiful City Park, nearly 1,100 participants came together (in their underwear!) in honor of and in memory of those who have been affected by colon cancer. These local participants helped the CCA raise over $110,000 to support local and national awareness, screening, and prevention programs. Read more![]()
Seattle-Tacoma
Almost 300 participants joined the Colon Cancer Alliance on June 30th in Auburn, Washington to walk and run in the rain in honor of and in memory of those who have been affected by colon cancer. Jersey Shore
On July 28th, 2012, underwear-clad runners descended upon the Jersey Shore to participate in the third annual Undy 5000. About 620 supporters ran and walked along the boardwalk in honor of and in memory of those who have been affected by colon cancer.
