Our volunteer program gives you an opportunity to use your voice to help the Colon Cancer Alliance succeed in its mission to increase colon cancer screening and survivorship. As a volunteer, you will serve as liaison to the CCA's national office and lead colorectal cancer-fighting efforts in your community. We provide you the support and training you need to educate the public about colon cancer screening and survivorship.
How to Get Involved
Jose was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2008. Jose knew he had a family history of colorectal cancer, but didn't think that was something he needed to worry about until he was older. Well, he wants you to learn from his near fatal mistake. Jose first joined the CCA community as a Buddy. His volunteer role has evolved, and he now advises the CCA as its first Latino Medical Consultant.
