Teen Raises Funds And Awareness In Her Grandmother’s Memory

Sari Stone hasn’t even started high school and she’s already making a huge impact. After losing her grandmother Miriam to colon cancer, Sari knew she wanted to honor her legacy. So, for her bat mitzvah, she set up a philanthropic fund where people could contribute. Instead of keeping the more than $6,000 she raised, Sari decided to donate to us here at the Colon Cancer Alliance! 

We got a chance to speak with Sari and learn why raising colon cancer awareness is so important to her.
