Colon cancer isn’t always preventable. In some cases it is. Not my Dad’s. Unfortunately he was only in his 40s when he was diagnosed. When they found it was already stage 4. He took chemotherapy the rest of his life. I’m sure he would rather have stuck around. Than to die before he could even see retirement. He had two colonoscopy and they didn’t find it. They had to do exploratory surgery.. so just remember, it’s not always preventable. He had no symptoms until it was to late and he wasn’t in the age range to have a routine Colonoscopy. Even if he had they would not have found it.
